Enchanted Rose at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

In January 2026, Matthew and I headed down to our favorite place on earth for a visit. While we were waiting for our room, we decided to hop on the monorail and cruise over to the Grand Floridian to grab a libation and a small snack at the Enchanted Rose. The Ambience

We arrived shortly after they opened on a Tuesday in January, so it was not peak season. The hostess asked us if we preferred a table or the bar and we asked for a table. She took our name and phone number and led us through the main area where the bar is located and gave us a table up against the windows with a great view of the property and the lake.

The chandelier over the bar is inspired by Belle’s golden gown and is a real statement piece.

The bar and the many choices of beverage and concoctions.

This room was closed off during our visit, but I believe it is meant to be the “Garden Room” and is meant to symbolize the Enchanted Forest.

There is also a Library room that we did not get to see (which is also meaningful to the film as it is Belle’s favorite room). There is an outdoor seating area as well.

Our table and our view. We were so pleased but felt the tabletop was on the smaller side especially once we ordered our drinks and snack.

The Menu

We had just arrived from our 8-hour drive and were ready to have a drink, a snack, and to wind down and get into vacation mode. Unfortunately, due to our timing, the LITERAL only things available to order to eat were olives, nuts, and a cheese plate (not even a charcuterie board JUST cheese).

Artisanal Cheese Selection $19

We were absolutely starving and the item with the most substance that we could order was the cheese selection. We ordered at 12:35pm and it came out at 12:49pm which felt like an extremely long time for some sliced cheese. The bread bowl was warm which was a nice surprise.

The white cheese had a slice of fruit strip (quince paste) on top and that made for a nice balance. We put the apricot jam on the cranberry bread but it also needed a cheese to make it second bite worthy. The yellow cheese was hard and crumbly and my personal favorite. There was a big ole hunk of blue cheese which neither of us ate (I did try it because I was starving and we paid $19).

The honeycomb was divine. We even tried to put the honey on the blue cheese to eat it, but we just could not stomach it (some people love blue cheese, just not us). The pumpkin seed brittle was a nice crunch and a sweet treat.

Matt got the Espresso Martini (he loves these). It was recommended by the waitress. I don’t typically like these, but I had to have a taste. It was smooth and creamy with a bold coffee following. Matt rated it a 9/10. We were apparently charged extra for a “Bailey’s floater”.

Espresso Martini $17.50 Stoli Vanilla Vodka, Espresso, and Bols Creme de Cacao White Liqueur.

I got the Island Rose because I prefer something light, fruity, and that does not taste like alcohol. This absolutely delivered on all of my requirements and could truly be dangerous if they did not cost $19.50! It was delicious and refreshing. Matt’s reaction was “ohhhhhh”. I rate this a 9/10.

Island Rose $19.50 Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit & Rose Vodka, Lime, Orgeat (Almond), Pineapple, Bitters, and Rose Water.

In Conclusion

Overall, I felt like the decor was very subtle Disney. It did not “scream” Beauty and the Beast and felt very adult. It was elevated and beautiful. Very French baroque, but if you are looking for typical “Disney” theme, it was lacking overall. If I was looking to be in a pretty bar rather than a Disney themed bar, then it would be nice.

The cheese plate took 14 minutes to come out. For what it was it felt like eternity and was extremely underwhelming for the price. We were also really disappointed that there was not more of a food variety all day long especially for the price of the cocktails.

We also found it odd that there was no music playing or anything which could have added to the ambience. I am sure it would have been piano or classical or elevator music of some kind but there was nothing when we were there.

For what we paid, we thought there would be more options for food, more interesting ambience, and that the drinks might have something to elevate them like rose shaped ice cubes or I don’t know, something. For $63.37 for two drinks and some cheese we probably won’t be back.

Have you ever been? What was your experience like?
