GEO-82 Adult Only Lounge Inside Epcot-Walt Disney World, Orlando Florida
Sometimes when you are at a Walt Disney World park, you just want a place to sit down and cool off. If you are a Disney Adult like my husband Matthew and I, you may even desire a kid free space. In June 2025, Epcot provided just that place, but they did one better, they added alcohol!! Read on to learn about our experience at the new adult only lounge GEO-82.
General Information
Photo taken from the menu.
GEO-82 is found inside Spaceship Earth and honors it. Spaceship earth opened in 1982 and has become not only iconic visually, but it is a favorite ride and photo spot for many park goers. Inside GEO-82 you will see nods to the geodesic sphere that we all know and love through the metallic color scheme and the geometric designs in the lounge itself as well as the furnishings.
The bar/lounge is exclusive to guests age 21 and above with valid photo ID.
We actually got a reservation the day of our park visit while on the bus headed to the park and Matt did not have his ID. We asked guest services if a photo of his ID would work and they did not know. We also asked the concierge at the check in desk, and they did not know either. We decided to take a chance and not go back to the hotel to get his ID (he has grey hair for goodness sakes) and the staff did NOT card us. Would recommend you have it just in case but cannot confirm if just a photo would count.
Advance reservations are required.
You can make reservations through the website posted below, or through the My Disney Experience App (which is what we did), or you can call (407) WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). Check often! I had been looking for weeks, and we were able to get in at 7:22am the morning of our park day! I could not believe it!
Just like with any dining reservations it is best to try to make them 60 days in advance at 6:00am est.
Beverages and “small bites” are available-and are costly.
You can view the fireworks from the lounge, and they offer a GEO-82 Fireworks viewing package that you can book.
Items range from $15-$35.
Open for Lunch from 11:00am-3:55pm and Dinner from 4:00pm-9:00pm
There is a credit card guarantee to reserve your table.
There is a cancellation and modification policy on reservations. You must cancel at least two hours in advance of your reservation to avoid a $10 per person fee.
If applicable, 18% gratuity will be automatically added for parties of 6 or more.
Dining plan meals are not accepted.
You must have valid park admission.
The Lounge
At our table.
One of the best things about this lounge is the exclusivity of it. Before I get into sharing what it looks like inside, I should tell you that it is kind of difficult to find!!
Image taken from https://disneyworld.disney.go.com. This shows where the restaurant is located and the few entrances you can utilize from the outside to get to the restaurant.
The lounge is located inside Spaceship Earth. If you are just coming off of the ride and are currently on the inside, you will get off the ride, head straight towards the giant globe like you are moving towards the exit and then to the right you will see the door slightly on the right side.
Waiting for our table in the “Project Tomorrow” area. There are seats available, and the AC feels great.
If you are coming from the outside, you can enter through either of the entrances/exits to get into this same main area and then wander around the edges of the room until you find the door.
This is the entrance/exit that we used to get inside.

The entrance!!
In the tunnel headed to check in!
We checked in about 18 minutes before our reservation time and gave the concierge our phone number so that they could text us when our table was ready. I will be honest; it took a really long time. We did not get a text until 15 minutes AFTER our scheduled reservation time. Seating is extremely limited, and people are just hanging out and drinking so don’t expect a quick turn around when you are waiting to get your table. I will also say that we were there the week after opening so maybe they will figure out a way to turn tables faster in the future.
Waiting at the bottom of the stairs/elevator.
Once we finally got the text, we went back to the check in desk, and were invited to go up the stairs or elevator.
Once we reached the top we were greeted by several hosts/hostesses who checked us in and offered us cold “tranquility” scented towels. They were delightful and refreshing. We were invited to have a seat in the small waiting area while they got our menus together before taking us to our table. We waited about 1-2 minutes in this room.
Once they had our table ready, our hostess walked us through another tunnel and into the main dining area and to our table.
The dining area had large windows wrapping around the entire room offering lovely afternoon sunlight (and I’m sure a great view of the fireworks). There were 28 tables of all shapes and sizes plus seating at the bar. It felt intimate, and the design team did a lot with the space trying to maximize the amount of seating while allowing parties to feel like they had their own little pods. There were lovely textures and colors throughout that gave retro space vibes and paid homage to spaceship earth.
Below are a few shots of the view. It would have been nice to be up against a window to do a bit of people watching as we were sipping on our drinks, but we were sat in the middle of the room in short, oversized swivel velvet lounge chairs and a low, small, round, heavy table. The chairs had very deep seats and made it hard to sit close together and talk and it was really loud inside the lounge.
The Refreshments
All of our goodies. This is what $85.20 looks like friends.
The menu is artistic and specialized. There is specific glassware and ice for each drink. Our waitress brought us some waters while we looked over everything and offered suggestions. I originally had my eye on the Strawberry and Coconut “right hand” because I assumed it would be sweet but the waitress luckily intervened and redirected me. She suggested the Strawberry Black Pepper Sour and the Peach Shrub Whiskey Smash. She told us that if we were unhappy with them, we could switch them out.
She also recommended the Brown Butter Old Fashioned and shared that it was their most popular. They are also known for their Bourbon Flight. Neither are super appealing to me or Matt, so we went with her original recommendations.
Matt got the Peach Shrub Whiskey Smash. It was $26 and came with a sidecar of a shortbread cookie with some kind of jam (maybe peach chutney) on top. She explained each thing as it came out but there was so much detail that I could not write it all down. You could slightly taste the whisky and when you took a sip it was really bubbly, and you could feel the bubbles up in your nose (not in a bad way). It had a lot of flavors and was the tastier of the two. I made Matt switch with me. We give it a 7.5 out of 10.
From the menu: Toki Suntory Whisky, Lustau Amontillado Sherry, Peach and Mint Shrub, Bubbles.
The Peach Shrub Whiskey Smash
I went with the Strawberry Black Pepper Sour. It was $25 and to be honest was quite a letdown. There was no garnish, or anything fancy about it for $25. The server described it as sweet, but I am not sure I would categorize it as such. We give it a 4 out of 10. Matt felt strongly we should have sent it back for something else.
From the menu: Campari Liqueur, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, Strawberry, Lemon, Black Pepper.
We also decided to try a small bite. There were not many choices, and the waitress recommended the Charcuterie board so that is what we went with.
The Charcuterie Board was $29 and had many different things to taste and try which made it more of an experience and in my opinion worth it. There was a cranberry and pumpkin French baguette. There was honeycomb (my personal favorite thing). There was House made pickles with cucumbers from The Land. There was sliced wagyu, pork, and salami. There was truffle goat cheese, and triple cream cheese that was like brie.
Three cheeses total and three meats total. There was also a sweet nut (maybe pecan or almond) brittle crispy thing that was divine! It was a great mix of sweet, savory, and salty. My only complaint is that there was too little of everything-I wanted more!! The French baguette was toasted and super-duper crumbly and not super graceful to eat but that did not stop us! We give it a 9.5 out of 10!
It was an expensive afternoon treat. Our total before tip ended up being $85.20 for the two drinks and the Charcuterie board. We thought about trying another drink or one of the non-alcoholic drinks but decided we would rather eat dinner later!
Our original reservation was for 3:45pm. We sat down just after 4:00pm and got our bill at 4:36pm. We did not feel rushed but did not want to get another drink and new how long we waited to get in, so we felt like we needed to go ahead and move on for the next group.
In Conclusion
Overall, we are glad that we got to experience the GEO-82 lounge, especially a week after it opened. For us, it is a one and done experience for the following reasons:
We did not get to our table until more than 15 minutes after our scheduled reservation time. Park time is valuable time.
It was really loud inside.
The chairs were low to the ground and could not get really close to the table and were not the most comfortable if you were trying to have a conversation.
It was really expensive.
The drinks were not particularly tasty or impressive.
Some things we liked about our time at GEO-82 were:
The service was great (as you would expect from Disney).
The AC was lovely as was the break from the chaos of the outside/park situation.
It was nice to be in an adult only vibe for a few minutes.
The overall ambiance was very pleasant.
Hopefully this helps you decide if you want to book this during your next trip! Maybe try a different drink or small bite and let us know how it is!! Safe travels and cheers!!
