Rose & Crown Pub/Dining Room Epcot-Walt Disney World
One of my favorite things about going to Epcot is the food. During our most recent trip in June 2025 we found ourselves visiting when there was no festival. We typically go from booth to booth tasting a little bit of cuisine from each country, but we decided that since that was not an option, that we would choose a country and have a sit down meal. We ended up choosing England and the Rose & Crown Pub. Read on to learn about our experience and to decide if you want to stop by for some fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding during your next trip.
General Information
The website boasts the pub as family friendly (and there were many families inside and even at the bar) and offers waterfront seating. It is a full-service pub with a large selection of British beers, ciders, scotches, and signature cocktails. To be clear, you can experience the pub for drinks, and the dining room for food. We experienced the dining room.
I highly recommend making reservations. We were checking in for ours and a family walked up to inquire about a table and the hostess let them know that they had no availability for the evening. You can make reservations up to 60 days in advance through the My Disney Experience App, the website, or calling.
To book a reservation it requires a credit card guarantee.
There is a cancellation policy-if you do not cancel two hours in advance you will be charged $10 per person.
The pub is open daily for from 10:30am-9:00pm.
The dining room is open daily for dinner from 4:00pm-9:00pm.
If you are hoping for some fish and chips for lunch, you can stop next door at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop. It is the exact same fish and chips, just a smaller portion. You can even take it to go!
Prices range from $15-$35.
You can expect classic British Fare, and they also offer a children’s prefixed meal.
You can dine inside or outside overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon. We sat outside behind the building and got a lovely view.
They accept the Disney dining plan (the dining room not the pub).
Annual pass holders get a 10% discount (the dining room not the pub).

If you enter the World Showcase, you will want to head right (towards Canada). The United Kingdom is the second country you come across and the restaurant is along the lake to your left.
The Restaurant
Check in was a little confusing. At first, I went inside (and it was super busy at the bar). I quickly realized my mistake and came back out to these green stands. The first one (closest to the camera) is a line just for beer, and the second one is where you check in for your reservation.
We checked in for our reservation about 20 minutes before our scheduled time, and they sat us almost immediately. Our reservation was for 6:25pm.
The pub definitely gives traditional British pub vibes. The cast members that work there are all from the UK which really adds to the charm and transports you straight across the pond. They occasionally have live music as well!
We got to sit outside and while it was much quieter, it was June. I don’t remember their being fans on the patio and there was not much of a breeze. We had a nice view of the lake, but the table was sticky, and I had to wipe it down with one of my antibacterial wipes, and we were mighty warm throughout our meal.
The bar area has a few barstools around the actual bar and some tables scattered throughout the open standing area. There are also restrooms in this main section. It was absolutely packed when we checked in for dinner. There was an entire popcorn bucket spilled on the floor, napkins and glasses strewn all about. Very like a pub. Chaotic. It is definitely a vibe and not everyone’s cup of tea.
The inside dining room had lots of seating throughout the space. There were tables and chairs in all types of arrangements to accommodate different sizes of parties. Again, it was set up in a manner that would transport you to the UK with traditional decor throughout.
The Food
Enjoying our meal with the view of the lagoon.
Who doesn’t love a classic fish and chip? We knew this meal would be filling and that we wanted to get dessert. A lot of people go for the Scotch Egg as well.
The menus posted outside the restaurant.
Our menus were paper and to be honest had seen better days. They were wrinkled, stained, and a bit sticky, but they got the job done. I had been looking forward to the fish and chips all day, but Matt took his time to decide. We thought about getting a pint, but it was so hot outside that we just went with ice water instead.
The food came SUPER fast. I mean in less than the amount of time it took for me to type the paragraph above.
Bangers & Mash
Matt decided to go with the Banges and Mash. The menu describes the dish as traditional English Sausage with Colcannon Potatoes, Mushroom, Onion, and Red Wine Demi. $28
The gravy was rich in flavor but not super thick. The potatoes were smooth. Matt gives the dish an 8 out of 10 and I give it a 6.5 out of 10 (but I am not a huge fan of sausage).
Fish & Chips
My fish and chips are the “signature dish”. The fish is beer battered and served with tartar sauce. $31
I asked our server what kind of fish they were serving, and she shared that it was Pollock. The fries were hot and salty and crunchy (super good). The fish was really crispy and crunchy. I did have to ask for more tartar sauce (the portion was really large), and I should have asked for vinegar (I typically eat my fish and chips doused in vinegar). I would give it a 7.5 out of 10.
Sticky Toffee Pudding
Steamed pudding “cake” served with warm vanilla custard and hot butter rum sauce. $9.50
We had really been looking forward to this! It had cream and it had caramel, and it was warm. The cake was a little stale tasting (or maybe it tasted nutty). Matt gave it a 10 out of 10 and I gave it a 6.
Overall, the portions size made the cost relatively reasonable for a table service meal at Disney.
In Conclusion
Overall, we are glad we went, but we probably will not go again. If I feel the need for fish and chips, we will just grab some next door and keep it moving. The bar was chaotic and overwhelming because of how busy it was, the food tasked OK, and the ambience was cute and authentic looking but overall, the experience was underwhelming and the $73 could be spent elsewhere in our opinion.
What do you think? Have you ever been before? Do you still plan on giving it a try? Cheers!
